Care instructions after the gingival graft

1. For the first 2 days, wear the protective guard continuously;
2. On the 2nd day, begin rinsing your mouth with saline solution or salt water;
3. On the 3rd day, begin brushing over the operated area with an Ultra Soft surgical brush;
4. The diet must be soft, at room temperature;
5. Keep a cold compress on your cheek for the first two days;
6. Chewing is done on the side opposite the operation;
7. The sutures at the donor site are removed at 7 days; the sutures at the operation site are removed at 14 days;
8. Antibiotic therapy is mandatory in the case of smokers.
